Weekend only rotting at home ..... lazy to go to cinema :x .... this week also don't have movies that interest me much..... :x

So just stayed at home watch the dramas that I dl'ed :x

Watched till eyes oso swollen jor..... @.@

Sunday evening, Piano (John) left message asking wan yum cha at 9pm?
ok lu...... so mar go lu.... if didn't go then this week nothing to blog jor :x

8.15pm went to take shower & get ready.... missed liao Vans de call from Taiwan :x wait him call another time :X

8.50pm reached Seri Kembangan de Gasoline ..... Piano & Terebi (TV) also reached jor.....

So we went in Gasoline 1st.....

Been long long time never meet Terebi, actually this is the 2nd time I met him :X The 1st time was...... erm...... 5 years ago? ^^"

Later Tofu (Pikey) came...... he informed that got another IRC chatter coming... :X Piano & Terebi complained that he should says earlier so that they can put make up when coming out :x

20mins later, Tofu went down coz the IRC chatter reached... after the boring introduction, the IRC chatter is Samzai (Samuel)... Samzai commented Tofu didn't comb hair .... :x That reminded me of Vans that says PLU must always comb/style hair ^^"

Sensitive issue been touched.... ^^" why wanna ask ppl how old jek?.... :X Tofu simply said I m 28yo.... ^^".... I also just simply nodded ... :x

Another 15mins later, Linpeh (Jack) & Alex (Linpeh's potential bf) arrived.... Linpeh sei also wanna says he younger me 1 year >.< but actually he is younger me 1 year...... lolx :X

Linpeh was busy showing his company's trip photos in his laptop which obviously only Alex and Piano would see coz the others sitting opposite & Terebi was too far away..... On and off I got spied a bit oso.... but kind of boring coz no leng zai inside oso :X

Tofu have to entertain Samzai coz his is the one who asked Samzai out :x ..... Samzai showed Tofu his slim version of pics in his hp.... now de Samzai is.... erm..... kind of fat :X Tofu was shocked by Samzai's Ah Gua pic..... :x

Terebi was boring so he just read some magazines.....

Samzai left at 10pm something.... maybe he finds that we bored him :X ....

Not long after that Linpeh & Alex oso left.... maybe they wanna rush back ush ush ...... :x

The rest of us stayed till about 11.25pm then went back home lu.....

REC vs Quarantine

Last month watched a Spanish horror movie REC (2007)



Coz got curious with 1 of the trailer of REC

wanna know how scary was the movie..... so downloaded the movie....

The movie is only about 80mins... and it's quite boring during the 1st 20mins.... You might not like it.... coz it's a video cam movie.... but it's more clear than Blair Witch Projects and Cloverfield.....
A television reporter and a cameraman was assigned to spent a night at a fire station.... they accompanied the firemen on a routine response emergency call ..... they find a mysterious disease has infected one of the residents in the apartment and soon others residents been attacked... while they trying to escape... the building as been quarantined by the Disease Control Department..... >.< .... that is when the movie become tension......



The ending looks quite real and helpless...... :x it's either you chose to join the zombie team or shoot dead by the police.... :X

Just find out the film been remake in America.... here is the trailer .....

In cimena got sound problem for 3mins, will u ask for rewind ?

Went to MV early morning.... 9.55am already at parking ...

cause trying to get the ticket for 11.15am show, Fobidden Kingdom.....


Went up to the cinema.... ops... many ppl queing there already... those ppl so early ! >.<

Only left the front rows available for Fobidden Kingdom... ^^" .... So changed another movie.... 11am Fool's Gold... & 1.30pm The Kite Runner.... so ngam... both at the same cinema Hall 6.... and I chosen D 06 seat for the 2 movies.......



After bought the tickets... went to have my brunch....



Oh ya.... forgot.... when queing up for the movie tickets... I saw the cute guy formally working at the KimGary below was queing up at the next line..... so ngam... *^_^* ..... but he is dating with a gal...... :x he is wearing a long sleeves zip sweater.... I saw him half bend the adjust his shoes... & his slim chest muscles captured my eyes * . * .... soooo tempting..... ops... getting ham sup jor...... :x

21st movie 2008: Fool's Gold * * * ½

Matther McConaughey looks so hot in the movie.... his body is so perfect... yummy! :X .. but his hair looks sucks.... ^^" .....

20mins after the show started... there are some problems with the sound system... either the sound is breaking or the ppl talking with a robot voices.... :x .... after 1 mins the problem still continues... 1 audience went out to ask for assistance... told another 2 mins to solved the problems.... a guy sitting in front was not satisfy... he would like the person in charge to rewind back the movie.... I heard him argueing with the staff... I think the staff says they couldn't do that.... then the guy went back to his place told his drink & left.... & I think he never comes back :x wow... this guy really have his own principles .... :x

Anyway... the movie is a comedy... why dun we just enjoy the happy ending.... :)

22nd movie 2008: The Kite Runner * * * * ½

Most touching movie so far that I have watched this year in cinema....

The story of 2 naive boys Amir & Hassan in Kabul, Afganistan.... Hassan (Hassan's father, Ali was the servant to the family) was the loyal servant and best fren to Amir... Amir's father, Baba, loves both of the boys.... The boys spends their peaceful days with kite fighting... Hassan is the kite runner for Amir.... He runs to takes those kites that Amir defeated without looking up to the sky... he just knew where the kites will land...

Amir with the help of Hassan, won the kite fighting.... Hassan runs to get the last cut kite... Unfortunely, Assef & his 2 helpers were tailing him.... they demand Hassan to give them the kite but Hassan refused.... Assef beaten & anally raped Hassan >.<>

Since then... Amir keep his distance from Hassan.... He accused Hassan stolen his brithday watch..... Baba forgiven Hassan... but Hassan's father, Ali decided to leave the family....

Not long after that .... Afganistan been invaded by Russia.... Amir's father brought Amir flee to Pakistan then been relocated in America....

Years later.... Amir graduated & became a writter.... he got married & Baba dead not long after that....

Amir received a call from Rahim, his father's best fren... Rahim is the person who understand & supportive to Amir when he was still a kid... Rahim insisted Amir to goto see him in Pakistan... In Pakistan, Rahim told Amir that he hired Hassan family to look after their house in Kabul... The Taliban ordered Hassan to leave the house, but Hassan refused.... Taliban killed Hassan & Hassan's wife..... now Hassan's son, Sohrab been sent to an orphanage... Rahim wan Amir goes to Afganistan and bring Sohrab back... he revealed that Hassan was actually Amir's half brother (Shocking.... ), Baba slept with Ali's wife ..... Amir was so angry because he been cheated all this life.... Rahim says Hassan doesn't know either... He given Amir a letter that Hassan was going to send to Amir.... (tears dropped while Amir reading the letter..... so touching..... )

Amir decided to bring back Sohrab... but Sohrab been taken by the Taliban....

Amir with the help of Farid... communicated with the Taliban... & Amir been asked to goto a house..... There he found out the Taliban official who took Sohrab is Assef ..... Assef beaten the hell out of Amir... with the help from Sohrab.... they managed to escaped...

Back to America.... Sohrab hardly can open up to Amir & his wife..... Sohrab felt his is dirty after wat Assef has been done to him (OMG... Assef anally raped Hassan (father) and Sohrab (son) ^^").....

Amir teaches Sohrab how the Hassan's way to flies a kite.... finally Sohrab begin to have some interaction with Amir..... Amir runs to get the kite that they defeated... he says to Sohrab "For you, a thousand times over" .... this was wat Hassan said to Amir before... t.t ..... touching.....

The scenes of the kite fighting are really amazing.....

Thinking to watch No Country For Old Man, 9.40pm at MV....
In MSN, Piano (John) asking wanna sing K with Mention (Jacson) at nite? ..... but since it's quite expensive & just 3 peoples.... I say I rather go watch movie :x Then Piano dulan jor... dun wan talk to me :x

When going back home after work... I sms Piano....

Me: If u hv dinner at MV let me know I go join :x
Piano: Ard 730pm we will reach mv
Me: Ok I will be there :x

Later Piano sms again....

Piano: Mention ffk me. So I think cancel la. But r u having dinner alone btw?
Me: Ccb... I ask mum dun cook my rice jor... now eat alone lor
Piano:Nvm la. We eat at mv la. Since I also gona eat alone.
Me: Ok. I m going out in 5mins.

I reached MV smoothly at 7.05pm ... no jam... so happy & got a parking waiting for me :X
Went up to cinema floor and called Piano....

Me: "Halo... me reached jor.... where r u ? "
Piano: "Huh... ? U says not going already jor geh..... I m at home now.... "
Me: (speechless... >.< ) "..... oh... erm... erm..... ok... ok... "
Piano: "oh... ok.... "

So.... tat's mean he is not coming ..... ^^" dunno where gone wrong & dunno who missunderstood? ...

Now I m too early for 9.40pm de show.... the earlier show just started at 7pm ... too late by the time for my turn to buy ticket..... ^^" .... very quickily go through the monitors screens....... ok.. The Tattooist at 7.30pm.... ngam ngam hou... so bought 7.30pm The Tattooist and continue with 9.40pm No Country For Old Man....

After that very quickily queue up to buy 1901 Chicken Hotdog & drink as my dinner....

The received sms from Piano....

Piano: U wait me for a while ya. Im going out nw.
^^" .... Me: No. I bought 7.30pm de movie jor. U says dun wan come. -.-

Then Piano called... "aiyo... u bought ticket jor? tot u says ur show is 9.40pm 1?"
Me: "wei.. U says u dun wan come jor... then I hv to act fast to gao tim my self lar..."
Piano: " I m otw jor... kam dim jek? .... did I say I dun wan come? wat did I say? I actually sleeping just now.... "

So Piano sendiri U-turn back eat him self.... dun blame me... is Mention that ffk messed up the plan.... :x


19th Movie 2008: The Tattooist * * *



I tot is a triller movie.... it turns out to be a ghost horror movie... ^^" Jason Behr is a hunk now >.< He was quite boyish in the drama series Roswell .... The movie is about Jason Behr accidently cut his hand with a tattoo stick that he stolen... then started to have nightmares... & those who he tattoo'ed... soon will be dead in a horrible way.... He has to find the real cause of what happening because ths last person he tattoo'ed is the girl that he loves...



20th movie 2008: No Country For Old Man * * * *

This movie won the Best Film, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director & Best SceenPlay of the recent Oscar... The movie is very quiet most of the time... there is oni 16mins of soundtracks/music throughout the movie included the credits..... ^^" so tat means u hardly can hear any music at all ....

Impressive story... In West Taxes, 1980, Chiqurh, a hitman, being arrested by a police.... some how, he managed to escaped...

Llewelyn hunting pronghorn in the desert, accidenly came across a massacre between the drug dealers & buyers.... he found 1 mexican is still alive but injured... then he found a satchel with 2 million dollars.... of coz Llewelyn took the money and left... Later at nite, he felt guilty & bought a bottle of water for the Mexican.... but found out the Mexican been shoot dead... & Llewelyn been discovered by the return gangster... & the chasing game started...

Chiqurh been hired to retrieve the money... the chasing & hiding between them are very exciting...

Tommy Lee Jones plays as a sheriff in the movie... he really looks old... :x he plays an important role in the movie... by telling use the story & his scripts are very meaningful...

The ending shocked all the audience.... u will know when u go to watch this movie :X

Ikea day

Went to The Curve and watched movie at Cineleisure in the morning....

18th Movie 2008: Street Kings * * * ½

A movie that the main character been shoot but still can runs and fights..... :x A story about the dark side of the police.... Keanu Reeves still looking good in shape.... just that he looks older jor.... Most surprised to see Chris Evans in the movie.... soooo leng zai... Missed out some of the details of the movie... coz replying some sms ^^"

After movie ... meet up with an ex-uni mate... have lunch at A & W in Ikano... then jln jln at Ikea, my fren wanna look see look see the furniture for budgeting coz she planning to buy an apartment in November this year....

So many ppl at Ikea.... like all the things are free >.< ..... Saw a few couples of P there.... :x

Din got the chance to buy the cheap Hotdog (RM2) coz too long queue...... ^^"

After that went to Harvey Norman look see look see..... tired sei..... :x

Then went back to Ikea ... I bought a baby chair (RM69) for my niece as 1yo birthday present..... :)

Kyle XY

Recently watching this drama Kyle XY ..... yes is XY .... not KY ... :X keke.....

Find it quite interesting.... Kyle XY is a science fiction drama...


Look at the poster.... the guy kind of cute ... right? *^-^* .....

See ... he has no belly button........ :x

The story is about this young boy, Kyle... suspected 16yo.... found himself woke up in a forest outside Seattle.... NAKED :X (ops... let you know why I interested in this drama jor.....). He has no memory of everything.... He dunno how to communicate ... even dunno how to eat & drinks... just like a newborn baby except he is a huge baby.... He wanders around the city & been taken to juvenile detention facility, where it is discovered he doesn't have belly button....

Soon he was adopted by Nicole Trager , a psychologist, & been discovered he is a genius ...... the series follows Kyle & Trager's family develops socially and searches for answers to his past....

Season 1 only have 10 episodes....
Season 2 just finished the last episode, episode 23 on March 2008.

Reading newspaper nowadays you will come across RON 92, RON 95, RON 97 and RON 99 ...

Government considering to revise petrol RON92 & RON97 to RON95 and RON99.... to help the lower - lower middle class income group....

Currently in Malaysia, RON92 (rm1.88) is used by the motorcycles while RON97 (RM1.92 East Malaysia RM1.91 West Malaysia) is used by other vehicles... Shell Super V-Power (RM2.15) is the only premium brand...

Will it benefits you if government subsidized fully on RON95 and a little on RON99? Does you car suitable to use RON95?

Reading from Cari Forum... technically vehicles with Compression Rate 10 and above most suitable to use RON97 .... if use lower type of petrol your vehicle maybe will have side effects which is the engine may not run smoothly...

Some also says that vehicles with 1.3cc and lower are suitable to use RON95 .....

Reading from Star newspaper, BMW Group Malaysia corporate affairs manager Vijayaratnam Tharumartnam claims that BMW vehicles are built to perform on RON 95 fuel. :X So expensive de car oso can use RON95, does that means most of the cars also can use without any side effects?

Quite confusing..... >.< but actually you may check back you vehicle service manual book for more accurate info of which type of petrol is suitable :X

Some researcher and economist foresee that if government really carry out this plan... the price of RON95 will be cheaper than RM1.92 ..... & RON99 might be more than RM3 :X
